FAQs

Why don't you take insurance? Our mission is to put the power of your health and wellness back into your hands. In order to provide high quality, personalized care we have chosen quality over quantity. The care you receive at traditional physical therapy clinics contracted with insurance carriers is often dictated or influenced by health insurance companies. By not accepting insurance, we can offer individualized care to achieve your goals. Our goal is to spend one-on-one time with patients to gain results faster in a shorter amount of time. *Keep in mind we will also provide an itemized receipt for you so that you can submit to your insurance if you have out of network benefits.
-
How do you take payment?VeloFit, LLC is an out-of-network provider with all insurance carriers so we do not accept health insurance plans. We operate as a fee-for-service practice and do not contract with insurance providers. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (FSA). Payment is due at the time of service.
-
How much will it cost me if I have out-of-network benefits? Please refer to the new patient intake form here and scroll down to "Out-of-Network (OON) Insurance Benefits Reference Sheet" to help you ask the right questions to understand what your benefits are with your specific insurance provider.

Once you schedule your appointment, you will recieve an email with a link to an intake form. Please fill out this intake form before your visit.

What is dry needling, and how can it benefit me as a client?Dry needling is a technique used by our experienced physical therapist to treat trigger points in your muscles. It involves inserting a thin needle into the skin and targeting these trigger points to alleviate pain, improve range of motion, and promote healing. This technique can help with various conditions such as muscle tightness, chronic pain, and sports-related injuries. By addressing these trigger points, dry needling can complement your training and coaching sessions by improving muscle function and reducing discomfort, allowing you to achieve your fitness and performance goals more effectively.
